If your H-Wave is in need of repair, it must only be serviced by the manufacturer of the device. Please send the H-Wave directly to the factory at: H-Wave 42136 Sarah Way Temecula, CA 92590 Please include all accessories with the unit (charger, lead wires, pads) and a note describing what type of problem you are having. Also be sure to include your name, address (please no P.O. Boxes) and telephone number. ![]() The unit is completely dead and will not turn on.Be sure that the recharger is unplugged from the back of the machine. As a safety precaution, the unit is inoperable when the charger is plugged into the jack in the back of the unit.Charging the unit/Battery Voltage.The Battery voltage meter must always be above 12. It is essential to keep the clinical model charged at all times, and never let the battery voltage meter go below 12. If the voltage meter does read below 12, charge the unit immediately for 8-10 hours. The unit cannot be overcharged so it is helpful to keep the unit plugged into the outlet when not using.The pads are not sticking.Moisten the electrodes with water and place back on the plastic sheet and inside the ziploc bag. Leave overnight, and the water should rejuvenate the adhesive material. If this does not solve the problem, please call our office to order new electrodes.Intermittent or no Signal from the H-WaveBe sure that the battery voltage meter is above 12. If not, recharge battery immediately for 8-10 hours. The most common cause of an intermittent signal is aging pads. As electrodes age, body oils accumulate which can decrease conductivity to the point of no feeling or an intermittent signal. Always try new pads first. A faulty lead wire is the second most common cause. Try another lead wire to determine if that solves the problem. If the problem does not seem to be the pads or lead wires please contact H-Wave or send in your equipment to our factory for testing/repair. |
