Intake Representative – Document Management

The Opportunity:

H-Wave is seeking an Intake Representative to join our Intake Team. We’re looking for someone who has experience in document management or in a similar role that requires managing multiple email inboxes or efax or fax machines all while providing next level customer service both internally and externally.

A day in the life of an H-Wave Intake Representative serves as the primary point for all incoming patient documents. In this role, you’ll be manage a document process by processing incoming requests, opening new accounts, scanning paperwork and entering patient information to our internal systems.

 Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll do:

  • Manage multiple email inboxes
  • Review paperwork and decide if new account can be created
  • Work on different types of accounts
  • Enter data from patient paperwork
  • Scanning paperwork into correct files
  • Enter Patient Outcome Reports in system
  • Make corrections as needed
  • Multi-task and move from one task to another quickly and efficiently
  • Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and attention to details at all times

 What you’ll need to get an interview:

  • HSD; or equivalent of 2+ years related work experience
  • Excellent PC skills with ability to adapt rapidly to a variety of systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying authority in a professional and efficient manner
  • Willingness to grow and take on additional responsibilities
  • Positive attitude and professional image at all times
  • Able to work cohesively with others or independently with little supervision
  • Highly dependable (attendance, daily responsibilities/tasks, and project deadlines)
  • Competent in multi-tasking, prioritization, and maintain confidentiality
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 codes
  • Previous work experience in data entry at-least 1 year, preferably medical environment
